Why consider therapy? Therapy is a process which provides you with professional guidance and support in identifying and resolving disruptive feelings, emotional conflicts, and distressing behavioral patterns that may be getting in the way of reaching your goals and living comfortably.
The therapy process starts with a conversation about how you feel you need help and we arrange a face-to-face meeting. During the first couple of sessions we will talk about what you hope to get from therapy and whether we think we will work well together. I encourage you to ask questions about the process and help me understand how to help you feel comfortable and secure as we explore your story. I want our conversations to be progressively productive for you. If the fit feels right, we will make plans to continue to work together.
